Not unlike the leather telemark boots of the pre-plastic boot era, the BC X11 is a burly touring boot designed for long excursions into the backcountry in search of new snow for turns or many typical hut trips. While these boots are not meant to withstand the torque applied by turning modern fat boards, they can handle the combination of a 3-pin binding and skis such as the Rossignol BC 90 AR or Fischer Boundless.
